Homemade Sweet Potato Fries

by Diaper Wagon Mama on Mar, 2 2010
Yes, we have a love for things beyond cloth diapering and natural care products (blush).   One of those loves being Homemade Sweet Potato Fries!  Quick and easy to make, and loved by all, Sweet Potato Fries are a yummy snack or a wonderful side to tonight’s dinner.
Ingredients:
-  2 sweet potatoes, washed
-  2 tablespoons canola oil
-  Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

-  Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

-  On a cutting board, slice the sweet potatoes in half lengthwise. Slice each half into 6 wedges.

-  Place wedges in a large bowl, add canola oil, season with salt and pepper (to taste) and toss to coat.

-  Place the fries onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Turn the fries and bake for another 15 minutes until brown and crispy.  Transfer to a serving dish, serve & enjoy!
